Entertainment

The establishment of two entertainment rooms that have the ability to become one room  illustrates the Clubs pledge to show casing the best of Adelaide’s entertainment industry.  Each room has a large dance floor.

The Clubs food quality and quantity is superb, just have a look at our   a la carte Menu,   All Day Menu,  Club Bar Menu  and Menus for those other special events that are held annually.

We service two fully stocked bars in the Function Room and Bistro with a wide variety of beverages including cocktails.  We also provide table service for our special events.

Outside of our special events the Club provides free entertainment on the last Saturday evening of every month as well as those special days i.e. Mothers Day, Melbourne Cup etc.  We also provide for the “Rock ‘n’ Roll Club” to house its events, dance lessons every Tuesday evenings for all our customers to enjoy.

Every second Sunday afternoon and every second Friday night in our Club Bar, you can be entertained by a variety of musicians.

Our customer feedback assures us of the direction we are going,

THE RIGHT DIRECTION!

Our aim is to give the members and patrons a value for money experience, with no compromise to customer service or the quality and variety of entertainment provided.  This is why we appeal not only to our local community but have members from the Yorke Peninsula to Noarlunga utilise our entertainment selection.

We target our customers with the various forms of entertainment by advertising via the Multiscreen Television in-house, posters designed in-house by our administration staff and by way of flyers on tables and bars.  The entertainers or performs may provide us with advertising material which we use in-house as well.

We aim to keep our costs of special events to a minimum and a variety of entertainment so we can cater for all the community near by and afar.

Security Guards are hired when events are held which patrol inside the Club as well as outside on a regular interval of 20 minutes.

Theming is seasonal –

  • Christmas in July Dinner Dance the traditional Christmas decorations are displayed with table decorations.
  • Christmas, the traditional Christmas decorations are displayed along with table decorations and staff are asked to wear Christmas ties and hats.
  • New Years Eve, the traditional Christmas decorations are displayed along with table decorations and lays with staff encourage customers get in the spirit of the season. Hats, poppers etc.

The Para Hills Community Club  has had a long tradition of providing entertainment in the Northern Suburbs.

  • Saturday Evening - Generaly Every Saturday Night in the Bistro
  • Sunday Evening – Every Second Sunday in the Club Bar
  • Special Events – Dinner Dances, etc. check our entertainment guides
  • Friday Evening – Once a month Kids Disco February through to October
  • Friday Evening - Every Second Friday Night in the Club Bar (except when some sporting events are on)

This also fosters the Adelaide Entertainment Industry by giving bands a venue to play.  The introduction of electronic gaming machines saw many licensed venues turn their back on entertainment for the lucrative, less socially interactive pokies.  We never stopped, and worked through these times to ensure the community had alternatives in entertainment.
